  4. MacRadioSchedule is a computerized schedule of shortwave radio broadcasts.

  7. Requirements:
  8. System 7
  9. Color Monitor capable of at least 640 by 480 resolution

  13. Brief Instructions:

  16. File Menu:
  17. Only the Quit command may be used at this time.
  18.  
  19. Edit Menu:
  20. Preferences:
  21.  
  22. Time Zone: Allows the user's time zone to be entered. (for example, -5 for EST, -4 or EDT, etc).

  24. Link to RigTalk: Clicking this box allows MacRadioSchedule to send messages to a compatible radio control software package (such as my MacIcomControl software for Icom radios). This allows you to just click on a transmission, and have your radio jump to that frequency.

  26. Launch RigTalk: Clicking this box will cause a radio control application to be automatically launched when MacRadioSchedule is started up.

  28. Database: Clicking on the "Set" button will allow the schedule database file to be selected. Normally this would be the BroadcastFile file included with MacRadioSchedule. This must be set the first time MacRadioSchedule is run. Then quit, and restart the application, and the database file will be read.

  32. Clicking in the page corner (lower left corner of the screen) flips forwards and backwards through schedule pages.

  34. The seven indicators on the left of each line are for the days of the week (Sunday through Saturday). If the indicator for that day is red, the station is on the air that day.

  36. Broadcasts currently on the air are highlighted with a blue background.

  38. If RigTalk is enabled, your radio may be commanded to go to a frequency by clicking on that frequency.

  40. The Search menu may be used to jump to the beginning or end of the database. The Find function is presently not enabled.

  46. This is a preliminary version of MacRadioSchedule. Many new features will be added, and the database expanded.
